Aufgaben

Main duties
Perform translations (EN - DE) in the client-owned translation tool.
Translate various types of content, including marketing, help and UI.
Master or learn the tools associated with translation work (e.g. tools for creating queries or checking the live UI elements).
Precisely follow the established translation process, e.g. always raise queries when there is a need to.
Learn the style guide and overall client’s requirements, e.g. stylistic preferences.
Improve based on the corrections made by the senior team members as well as the client reviewers.
Keep track of personal error statistics and work on the weak spots.

Qualifikation

Fluent in German (bilingual level), both written and spoken.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Passion for the world of technology marketing, accuracy, style and readability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to learn new localization tools and applications quickly.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Benefits

Welocalize is offering a 6-months Traineeship contract for German translation students or fresh graduates interested in gaining experience and developing their careers as translators. The purpose of our program is to develop the skills of young language professionals with a view to establishing long-term cooperation upon completion of the traineeship.
